Q3 2026 Impact Report: Groceries, Health Support, and Community Care (July–September)

The third quarter of 2026 was marked by tangible compassion across Harare Province. From grocery distributions to health interventions, TPP remained steadfast in its mission to uplift vulnerable families, elders, and children. Below is a detailed account of our outreach activities during this period — all glory to God for the successful deliveries.

Event 1: Quarterly Grocery and Food Donations to Vulnerable Families

On August 18, 2026, TPP distributed essential groceries and food items to four vulnerable households in Ruwa and Norton. Beneficiaries included Gogo Krienke-Ruwa, Mrs. Ncube, Mr. Nyamhunga (represented by his wife), and the Masema family. The exercise, recorded by Treasurer Mr. Silas Mukono, strengthens household food security and reflects TPP’s commitment to consistent, quarterly community outreach. These donations ensure that vulnerable families receive reliable nutritional support, fostering resilience and dignity within the communities we serve.

Event 2: Sunscreen Lotion Distribution for Chronic Disease Patients

On August 20, 2026, TPP distributed sunscreen lotions to beneficiaries under its chronic diseases medication programme. Recipients included Talent Kapuma (Blue), Munashe Kunyetu (Woman), and Tapfuma Antony Kabungaidze (Coffee). This initiative addresses the specific healthcare needs of individuals managing skin-sensitive chronic conditions. By providing essential protective creams, TPP demonstrates its holistic approach to community health, ensuring that vulnerable members receive vital resources to improve their daily wellbeing and quality of life.

Event 3: Personalised Sunscreen Support for Amanda Wasarirevu

On August 20, 2026, Amanda Wasarirevu received sunscreen creams through TPP’s chronic diseases programme. A photo captured the moment with Florence Wasarirevu, highlighting TPP’s dedication to personalised, compassionate care. Amanda remains one of the key beneficiaries of this essential health intervention. The accompanying caption — “Sharing goes beyond sharing sunscreen creams” — beautifully captures the organization’s deeper mission of fostering dignity, human connection, and tangible support for individuals navigating long-term health challenges.

Event 4: Visit to Melfort Old People’s Home — Food Hamper for Sekuru Joseph Wezulu

As part of its ongoing commitment to vulnerable elders, TPP visited Melfort Old People’s Home to present a food hamper to Sekuru Joseph Wezulu. This initiative reflects our dedication to dignified elderly care, ensuring that senior citizens receive essential nutritional support and meaningful community connection. Through direct engagement with residential elder facilities, TPP strengthens local social protection systems, actively combats social isolation, and upholds the inherent value of older generations. Such visits affirm that sustainable community development must always include compassionate, tangible support for our senior members.

Event 5: Good Samaritan Children’s Home Outreach

During the third quarter of 2026, TPP extended its humanitarian outreach to the Good Samaritan Children’s Home. This support aligns directly with the organization’s child protection and welfare mandate, providing essential resources to vulnerable children in a residential care setting. By engaging with children’s homes, TPP reinforces its commitment to creating safe, nurturing environments for young people, ensuring they have access to basic necessities and a strong foundation for hope, stability, and future development.

Conclusion

These five activities represent just a portion of TPP’s ongoing quarterly work. Through food security, chronic disease support, elder care, and child welfare, we continue to build safer, healthier, and more empowered communities across Zimbabwe. We thank all our partners, volunteers, and beneficiaries for making this impact possible.
